ALKALOID pays significant attention to the protection of personal data in every segment of the business processes, through the application of the standards determined by the legal and by-law regulations for the protection of personal data in the Republic of North Macedonia, as well as by the internal acts of the company.

This privacy policy provides general information about the processing of personal data when you visit our website (hereinafter “website/site”) and/or when you use it in another way, i.e., when you leave your data on it through one of the forms contained in the site.

This privacy policy is in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of North Macedonia, published in the Official Gazette no. 42 of 16.2.2020.

We respect your privacy and collect, process and store personal data lawfully, transparently and fairly, in accordance with legal regulations and the legal bases established therein. In doing so, the processing is limited only to those personal data that are necessary to fulfil the purpose for which they are processed.


WHOSE DATA DO WE PROCESS?

Depending on how you choose to interact with us, we collect various types of data about you. Sometimes you give it to us directly (e.g., when you send us a massage through one of the forms in the site e.g Get in touch & Get a quote ), sometimes we collect it (e.g., we use cookies to understand how you use our site), and sometimes we receive data from third-party websites/applications (social networks). WHAT CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL DATA DO WE PROCESS?

We collect personal data when you fill out the form “Get in Touch & Get a Quote”  particularly Name and surname, company title and  your electronic (e-mail) address.

3. Personal data through Social Networks and platforms: We collect data through social networks and platforms, through the content you create and share with us on social networks and third-party platforms, or if you interact with us through social networks and platforms including third-party applications or platforms such as Linkedin, etc. Content may include your first name, last name, username and other personal information that you share with us on social media.

HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

ALKALOID undertakes all technical and organizational measures to ensure the highest level of confidentiality and protection of the processing of your personal data at its disposal, in order to prevent unauthorized access, unauthorized disclosure or possible misuse of them. Access to your personal data is limited to those employees who have a real need to come into contact with that data in order to achieve the purpose for which it was provided.

We do not share data about you and/or your visit to our site with third parties, except in the case of hiring service providers, if ALKALOID hires them as service providers, which will be obliged to act according to ALKALOID’s instructions and provide protection of personal data that is processed during the provision of those services, in accordance with the applicable legal regulations for the protection of personal data.

Neither we nor our partners will transfer your personal data to third parties in any form, unless we obtain your consent or are legally required to do so. ALKALOID retains control over the use of this data.


THIRD PARTIES (PARTNERS) LOCATED OUTSIDE THE EU TERRITORY

Your data will be stored in the servers in the Republic of North Macedonia. 

Nevertheless, we are obliged to warn you that certain third parties who manage the services provided on this website transfer or may transfer your personal data to the United States where it may be shared with intelligence services in accordance with the regulations in force in the United States. Your rights to the protection of personal data in the United States may be limited by the condition of citizenship, the need to prove the basis for a lawsuit or complaint, or the secrecy of investigative procedures.

RETENTION PERIOD FOR YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Your data will only be stored for as long as necessary to meet all of the above purposes. Your personal data will not be stored in a form that allows you to be identified longer than necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected or processed. HC ALKALOID Skopje stores certain personal data in accordance with the time limits prescribed by law or the internal acts of the company and only for the duration necessary to achieve the purpose for which they were collected.

When fulfilled the purpose for which the personal data of the subject are processed, they will be deleted in case the subject did not request the withdrawal of the given consent. If you make a well-founded objection to the processing of personal data based on legitimate interest, we will not process your personal data in the future. If legal, administrative or extrajudicial proceedings are instituted, personal data may be retained until the end of such proceedings, including the possible period for filing legal remedies.

ALKALOID guarantees the exercise of all your legal rights regarding the processing of your personal data. You have the right to request from ALKALOID at any time:

Right to access – the right to submit a request for access to your personal data, i.e., to receive information about the data processed for you and to check if it is correct and up to date;

Right to rectification – if you find that your personal data processed by HC ALKALOID are incorrect or incomplete, you have the right to request rectification;

Right to erasure – right to ask HC ALKALOID to erase your personal data under certain conditions determined by law;

Right to restrict processing – the right to ask HC ALKALOID to restrict the processing of your personal data under certain conditions determined by law;

Right to data portability – the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to transfer it to another processor, without interference from HC ALKALOID;

Right of objection – right of objection based on a specific situation if the processing of your personal data is based on legitimate interest or is done for the purposes of direct marketing and for profiling related to direct marketing, under certain conditions determined by law and

Right to withdraw the consent – you have the right to withdraw your consent to the use of your personal data at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the legality of the processing, based on the consent prior to its withdrawal.
